Savory Corn Gems With Sesame Seeds (New!)

Best Blog Tips

These are super tasty. I think the addition of sesame seeds brings out the flavor like nothing I have tasted. If you love corn, you'll really find these to be delicious!

2 cups yellow cornmeal
1 can kernel corn, drained or 2 ears of sweet corn (slice the corn kernels off with a knife)
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup soy milk (plain)
Salt to taste
1 tsp. olive oil
1/2 cup all purpose flour

In a blender, put the kernel corn and the milk and blend till smooth. Scrape into a bowl, mix in all the remaining ingredients, making sure you don't have any lumps. Make sure that the mixture is not too runny nor too hard. If it needs a bit more liquid, add more soy milk, cautiously, and blend in. Drop by the spoonful onto a hot, greased skillet or griddle and cook for 10 minutes on one side and
turn. Cook till golden brown.

Add your favorite salad and top with vegan cream cheese (or try one of the vegan cheeses we have in our collection) and you're set!

I was so fortunate in my timing when it came to photographing this pudding! I'm so glad i took the pick when it was still hot off the oven because shortly thereafter it was quickly eaten by the family. It is absolutely scrumptious so I don't blame them. It is also very easy to make.

1/4 cup sliced almonds
3/4 cup all purpose flour

Peel the bananas and slice them into a bowl. Peel the apple and seed it. Slice finely into the same bowl where the bananas are.
Add the rext of the ingredients, mixing well. Spoon into a baking dish and bake at 375ยบ F for about 40 minutes. If after 40 min.
the top is not yet slightly brown, leave a bit longer, but keep checking it till it is golden brown.
