These are really delicious and it cannot get easier than this! It is also a GLUTEN FREE recipe.
1 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
1/2 cup millet flour
1/2 cup soy flour
1/4 cup walnut pieces
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. sweet paprika powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Half an onion (medium) coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning (this herb blend contains sweet basil, oregano, and other herbs, or use herbs of your choice)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
In a blender, process the brown rice, the walnuts and the onion till smooth.
Scrape into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients, blending well.
Form patties, we did really flat ones, which cooked nicely but you can make them as you want to.
Place them on a cookie sheet greased with a little bit of olive oil and bake at 350ยบ F until golden brown, turning once and browning on both sides.
Serve as is or with a sauce or gravy of your choice.
Really yummy companion for just about anything!
